Flavio says hi!
When I was a kid, in the first grade, my public school produced a small line of uniform-type apparel. There was a skirt, it was reversible. It was blue on one side and green on the other. It would twirl in the wind when I danced. I’ve never loved an item of clothing more in my life.
That love is the chase, it’s my drive.
I don’t care for things that weren’t made from a place of love.
What I want to produce, with you, is something magic. Something that a kid will find in a thrift store 40 years from now, and will love.
Designing products with character
At Flavio Studio, I work with brands and creative organizations to design and produce thoughtfully made sewn goods. My role spans concept development, sourcing, prototyping, and production coordination.
I enjoy projects where design, craft, and identity intersect, developing products that feel considered, distinctive, and built to last.
This product development work builds on a foundation in costume and garment design, combining technical construction knowledge with strong visual identity.
I collaborate with brands to design and develop private-label apparel, accessories, and textile objects, guiding projects from concept and sourcing through sampling and production. Production prioritizes working with Canadian manufacturers and suppliers whenever possible.
